Hey, all. I've been reading quite a bit on BHW but I guess I should've started with an introduction.

My name already says something about me: I'm a parent interested in writing. I've actually been a member on another forum for over a year but the spam forced me to find a new home. Here I am.

I'm still consider myself quite new in IM, blogging, etc. Warning: stupid question incoming.

Anyway, back to reading the forum (I love "the journey to" threads) :) See you there!

Thanks for advice. I really hope I'll learn a lot from old-school, accomplished writers. Even though I'm open to trying different methods, writing is the skill I cherish and look to improve the most. Again, thanks.
 
Welcome mate! You will find a lot of writers on here to chat to and gain experience from. I work as a writer kind of part time whenever i get an order. One thing i would like to say is that if you want to do content writing full time then you should try and get an account of sites like huffington post, forbes etc. You will bank then!

Thanks. Can you expand a little on what you mean by 'account of sites lie huff, forbes'?

he means you should buy a account on this websites as lots of ppl around are searching for good posts on huffingtonpost and u need a contributor account to post. Then go to hire a freelancer section and you'll found lots of work. Anyway welcome to BHW mate!

Welcome! Writing copy was something I was interested in perfecting when I first got started marketing online as it's the one thing
that can make or break your sales. After getting pretty good at it I decided that I'd focus on other areas and just started outsourcing
the copy to professionals and focusing on doing things that I enjoyed doing rather than doing something that I felt was a chore.

I tried searching for this but came up empty. I thought you become Huff contributor only by guest posting which you have to be invited to do.

Yes, that's what I'm thinking. Writing well is a skill that will always come in handy but in the end, I don't want to solely rely on it as my income.
