Hey everybody. My name is Rob!

I went to school in the midwest USA and graduated with a business degree. After getting a job and going through the motions of a feeling trapped in a 9-5 job forever, I took a chance during the pandemic and decided and make a
move towards working for myself.

So, now...

A friend referred me here to learn more about strategies we can use to make more money on the internet. I've visited these forums in the past but I didn't realize how much content there is here... I am pretty humbled being among all you experts and realizing how little I know about internet marketing!

The goal is to make a living by networking and learning with the rest of you

With that being said ... what are some upcoming internet marketing, SEO, or general tech trends that you think a newcomer should focus on in the year 2021?

Hi, that's a great introduction! Wish I had written one for myself like this when I had joined here! Hope you have a wonderful time ahead.

2021 is trickier than 2020 in a way. One thing for sure - businesses now know that they need to be online - it is a need and not just a want - given how the pandemic has changed the world. That, of course, is a huge amount of opportunity for us. No other day like today.

This year, in my case, I am trying to add offline service businesses as well as non-health product businesses to my own arsenal (since 2014, I have been focused on physical products in the health and fitness niche). That's because, for the offline service business for us, these are probably the best times in the 2000's - it is an exceptional opportunity today. The non-health-product business in my case though is just expanding business as usual, not as any exceptional opportunity. So I guess, at least in my case, I am thinking and acting for both - and how much one does needs to be decided upon by carefully examining how much one can take into their business.

Think yours. How much time and/or money can you invest. What can you make out of it potentially. And so on.

I think that newcomers should focus on blogging. It's the easiest and you can make ton of money

Thank you! I don't need my hand to be held but can you further elaborate further on your experience with blogging? So maybe a good plan would be to pick a popular niche...set up cheap Wordpress blog... hire writers for content, monetize with ads? Not as simple as that but that is the general idea yes?
