Hi everyone. Just curious how many others here work & make a good living irl? I do between 70k to 90k USD a year depending on bonuses.

Why IM/BH? Well, I feel more comfortable with my eggs in multiple baskets, plus I think the opportunity of running a business is exciting. Managing risk & reward, dealing with the challenges of working with people, working on a high level and the challenge of meeting the right people are all personal drivers. At the end of the day, I think it would be great experience for my career if I stay in my current line of work.

Why are you in IM?

You saying that internet marketing isn't real life? I guess I'm broke then..

Give me my fake life job any day over a 40 hour a week real life job.

Whats with the defensiveness? Probably obvious the intro forum is not the place to meet confident IMers...

I think they are just not real fond of you considering their way of life not "in real life" lol...I get what you were saying, but everything can be interpreted differently than it was originally intended. Anyways I work a shit job "IRL" for less than 25k / year, and am trying to replace it with IM using the 9-5 job for seed money and to cover my bills...luckily my girlfriend is kind of a baller so my end of the bills is actually quite small and I can play around with my money doing random internet marketing schemes, etc...

Welcome to BHW.

Very nice to meet you! I feel your pain, I use to work a 15k/yr job, and it can be tough to make ends meet! Props for having a baller gf, can you give me some tips in that space!? Hahaha. Sounds like you're bing pretty experimental, that is where I am at right now. Thanks for the reply and once I can PM, I'll shoot you a personal message to say hello.

And I get that some may get upset with my directness. I have respect (and jealousy) for the lifestyles many have built in IM. I would like to encourage everyone to succeed & be happy, I just don't have time for emotions. The people who are successful are most often those who display high competence triggers and either have positive things to say or they don't have time to talk to a little guy like me.

Nice to meet you ProSEO.

Very cool, zakotica. I was actually thinking about investing in real estate, but the large investment scares me! It sounds like you stay really busy, three income sources, wow?

I feel more comfortable testing, failing & learning until I find success. In IM it seems I can pick my level of risk and diversify a bit easier than in Real Estate.

Thanks for the reply Zakotica.

Real Estate Investing can be easy and the level of risk can be managed. You just need to be educated in the investment niche you choose && make sure to do due diligence before investing into anything. Also, you do not need a lot of money, Sometimes NO Money!
