I currently own a semi-successful Etsy store and looking to slowly get away from the platform. Etsy seems to be a blessing and a curse. There are days when you're on Etsy's good side and tons of orders come pouring in and other days when there's no traffic no matter what you do. We've learned tricks to somewhat stabilize it but there's no way to know how long that will last. So that's what led me here. We're building out our own website and learning how to drive our own traffic to it.
My day job is as a security engineer with a focus on building security tooling. So I have good amount of experience in automating things. Looking for ways to use that experience for my business.
