Hi there, I'm Charles, a travel writer and journalist with a passion for exploring new cultures and sharing my experiences through the written word. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, and during college, I had the opportunity to participate in a study abroad program in Spain, which opened my eyes to the wonders of travel.
After graduation, I secured an internship with National Geographic Traveler, where I honed my writing skills and gained valuable experience in the travel industry. Since 2016, I have been working as a Travel Copywriter in Tulsa, OK, where I create engaging content for a diverse range of audiences. In 2018, I also became a contributor to Travel + Leisure magazine, which has allowed me to share my travel stories and insights with a wider audience.
I am proud to say that my work has been recognized by the North American Travel Journalists Association, and in 2019, I won the "Best Travel Feature" award. It was an incredible honor, and it has motivated me to continue pushing myself as a writer and storyteller.
Most recently, I had the opportunity to organize and lead a travel writing workshop in Bali, Indonesia in 2022. It was an amazing experience to share my knowledge and passion for travel writing with others, and to explore the beauty and diversity of Bali.
Overall, I am deeply grateful for the opportunities that travel and writing have brought me, andI am excited to continue exploring the world and sharing my experiences with others. Through my writing, I hope to inspire others to embrace travel and to see the world in new and exciting ways.
