Hi BHW!

I'm a French IT engineer looking for some side income.
I think I'm at the right place!
Hope to share a thread together soon.

Welcome. When did you finish your engineering ?

Bonjour
Welcome to BHW don't forget to check all my valuable shares here

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Welcome to BHW. Just curious to know, what technologies you work..

@Sristy :
Thanks dude!

I love web dev so most of the time I work with PHP (and frameworks), JS, HTML, CSS.
And Java for desktop clients as mobile apps. Some swift too.

@Twynne :
Thanks dude!
Well, I'm looking for some technical and marketing stuff.

About the technical stuff, I can afford it most of the time I guess as it is my job.
But, to be honest, I did some little projects but didn't push enough to make "real" money from it: I mean more than a hundred euros.

Also, I'm pretty bad about marketing stuff. I've heard about BHW because a friend of a friend is making some money from what he learned on this forum. And it seems from technical stuff he's not good at it. So I thought: OK, if he can do it, why couldn't I?

By now, I'll go with a good friend on a Kindle publishing business. I already got one published but no sales yet. I might purchase a course from Emeka Ossai with my friend soon. If anybody got an advice on this?

So, I want to learn how I could turn my technical skills into a business which grants me a recurring revenue.

@damewood :
Thanks but it's the lockdown by now, maybe later ;)

@FatMarketing :
Salut !
Merci pour l'accueil ;)

@Aaric :
Thanks dude!

What about marketing would you say you're bad at? Marketing overall or a specific aspect?

I would say marketing overall.
I got the technical mindset in some kind but I'm not enough marketing oriented to make "real" money from it.
That's why, I definitely need to improve on that aspect.
If you have any advice on it @Twynne, I'm in!

Well, my advice to you would be to pick a starting point. If you're interested in learning social media marketing, there is a ton of information in the social media section of the site, or if you feel like trying to dabble in a bit of SEO, my advice would be to start in the white hat SEO section. Everyone here is more than happy to give their 2 cents and steer you in the right direction with any questions you may have. Also, I suggest taking a look at the newbie guide to give you a bit more insight into the BHW community.

Best of luck! Let me know if you need any help! :D
