Long time lurker, first-time poster. Thought I might as well take php's advice and pop my cherry here instead of an IG forum or Dropship Forum. I have been living a Black Hat life vicariously through you guys for awhile. I recently opened my dropshipping store to test the IM waters.
Being a full-time college student with a 9-5 job makes my IM journey harder, yet I took the plunge. I am a newbie to the IM scene, even though I have lurked and poured over hundreds of threads here. If there is any advice I can get regarding dropshipping, IG and Pinterest, I am willing to listen and learn. As I currently market my dropshipping store mainly through IG and Pinterest. I would like to thank this community as a whole for pushing me out of my comfort zone, to impart on my IM journey.

welcome D Ran.
another source of traffic for dropshippers is SEO, have you tested the waters?

I have implemented somewhat of a siloing method to my store (Again from what I have read here and the sources linked by you awesome folks). Where my store is in a linear fashion, so to speak. Added keywords to my niche and sub-niches (Title, product description etc). Although direct traffic seems to be my minority. I have created videos and other material except for blogging (Due to time constraints mainly; do not want to write another god damn paper, when I have multiple due mentality :suspicious:). I understand I could outsource it to a content writer here in our marketplace, yet I am hesitant to do so. If there are any SEO tips or any material I can read here to optimize and better get a grasp of it, I am all ears.

The college 9-5 life sounds very familiar, ha

Cool to see you're getting involved in IM in the meantime though...hindsight is a wonderful thing, if only I'd thought about it more a few years ago.

Hello :)

Hey, its better late than never right? I sometimes kick myself for not pushing myself to do this 1/2 years back. DROPSHIPPING IS OVERSATURATED!!;)

Welcome aboard, I'm sure you already know there is a wealth of info on here, best of luck

Without this forum, I would have been a lost puppy.

Good luck with Your Dropshiping site mate!

The point which was not mentioned in your post is links. Are you getting links? You need links to rank your site, some info in these subforums:
To be honest, I have not been doing many backlinks, other than the aforementioned. I am not well versed in SEO as I would like to think, even though I know it is a major factor. Thank you for pointing that out. Will pour through both forums again to optimize that. Also just to pick your brain how would you go about backlinks? (A better way for the long run, not looking to churn and burn or buy backlinks).

Obviously this forum is full of info...so read a lot of it to understand what is going on and how to get links as there are many methods.

For a new site, a simple thing to do is get listed in some directories/citations to get some traction. Then take it from there.

Will dig into both directories and citations. Thank you for exposing a flaw in my SEO design.
