I am an animator. Just started a small youtube channel and looking for ways to learn how my videos can rank better on YT. I will be reading through the forums and hopefully will pick up some useful tips. If you have any recommendations on where to start, please I will appreciate that. I am glad to be here.

I'd also recommend reading a book called The YouTube Formula if you want to dive deeper.

It dives deep into the multiple algorithms YouTube has. (there's more than one ;))

You could probably find a free copy by doing a bit of googling, tbh.

1. make sure your using an aged account
2. try uploading the video as private and let it sit there for like 6-8 hours or however long you want before changing it to public
3. have a consistent upload time like 9pm everyday and ensure you stick to that time consistently its better to not upload at all than to miss tht time threshold
these are the tricks that i learnt which have helped my videos get more impressions and rank better on yt
