Hello all! I used to an active web marketer around 2000 in the days of alladvantage and desktopdollars. I was really into them at that time as it seemed like they would last forever! I built my referrals everyday and late into the nights.. and i had some results of about 1500 direct referrals! Any free time I had was thinking about how to gain more and experimenting with new ideas.. it was fun and rewarding at the same time and I felt that was it. I will do this for the rest of my life!
Alas, after the dot-com bubble burst these two slowly went too.. all my hopes drifted away. As my money ran out eventually I got myself employed and left the world of web marketing. I worked hard at work 9am-6pm and never felt again the same rush of excitment when i see a new referral or a rise in metrics. Now recently my company got aquired by a bigger company and I am out of a job again. I was sad, as i have adapted to that lifestyle, but at the same time, i felt a rush of excitment brewing inside of me. This may be the time I get back to web marketing again!
I have lots to catch up on, and the game is constantly evolving. So go easy on me ok? and give me some tips if possible to help me along this journey of my new life, i will appreciate it very much. As with most things in life i am aware that to succeed in this takes a lot of hard work, dedication and thinking outside the box and I am mentally ready for it. Thanks for reading my introduction post! I hope i will grow here and in future be a useful member of this family to share my knowledge and insights.
