So I decided to take a break from IM and peruse a second career in law . Needless to say the first case didnt work out as well !
Me - "Yes your honour my client did steal from a supermarket and kinda scared the store clerk with a pepperspray . it wasn't even a gun, he got 4 kids and the mother is recovering from meth addiction . The store clerk doesn't seem too phased out about the ordeal eighter , just look at him !"
Judge - "So your saying that he threatened to commit domestic violence and pretty much rob from an honest business ? Also explain the colourful language and flipping off the store clerk !"
(Turns to client - "Malcolm what the hell you flipped off the store clerk why would you do that ?"
Malcolm client - "I was drunk" )
Me - "He was drunk your honour, you don't have any cringy moments in your life that keep you up at night ? Look I know it sounds bad but it's not that bad trust me bro "
Your honour stares angrily
Me turning to client again - "Dude this played out much better in my head , I suggest the plea deal "
10 years in prison for semi armed robbery and using the word bro in court sigh
