guys

this is so emberrassing to tell you that but i heard this hosting site yet but i am a noob anyway :)

my question is ; is it worth buying? compared to standart hosting sites what are the disadvantages?

It's Cloud hosting which is considered as the best (better then Shared,Vps or dedicated) , you can add resources when you need (RAM ,CPU etc ...)
DigitalOcean is considered one of the website hosting providers out there , I would really recommend them .
You may need some knowledge in Linux though unless you are planning to run simply wordpress (I'm not able to post links so just google for "DigitalOcean wordpress" and take the first result).

I tried digitalocean before, I can say there are good. I've used them for many months without problems.

If you're a noob, the disadvantage is that you need to spend hours or not months to figure out unmanaged hosting.

And that's a noob question indeed. If you just discovered something new, you should be asking about it's advantages, not the other way round.

I have been using them for 1 year and a half. Never had a single problem with them during this time.

No worries, you can try them mate

how can i learn unmanaged hosting

DigitalOcean is awesome. Cheap cloud hosting. Also they have lots of images of different OS or particular software packages you can deploy with one click. I use it for my Docker stuff. Very happy.

Try vultr you will get $20 in your account + 768mb ram and all features of digitalocean for $5. I recently switched from digitalocean to vultr.

Digital Ocean is awesome, but if you're a hosting noob, you're definitely better getting a re-seller account with cpanel pre-installed.

Even with pre-installed software such as Wordpress on Digital Ocean, it's still nowhere near efficiently configured for optimal public use.

If it's your money site, do yourself a favour and get managed hosting.

I used different kinds of cloud hostings and digitalocean are certainly not the best cloud hosting providers out there. I used mcloud services without any single issuee for 2 years, you should check them out also before making any long-term decisions. If you need hosting for less than a year, my recommendation goes to digitalocean :)

instead you can buy some affordable managed hosting too if it's not a big deal on that site.
