Heads up about .UK domains

Just a quick heads up about .UK domains (not .co.uk)

There are GREAT single letter .UK domains available for registration. As you probably know, they opened up the 2nd level .UK registrations a while ago.

It is impossible to find single letter domains in any other relevant TLD

So if you have UK residence, grab this opportunity quickly! Just go to namecheap and bulk search from a to z and see for yourselves! Good luck!

I tried a while ago to grab some - the problem is a lot of them are reserved for people who own the .co.uk equivalent.I wasn't able to grab any of the single letters.

Yes, you can't buy them till 2019 unless you own the .co.UK .com .org.UK or one of some other few extensions.

Mark your calendars. There is a big opportunity on june 10th 2019. An address for service in the uk needed, if living overseas.


A couple of months before D-day 2019, start checking for available .uk domain names. If you have a budget for 50
registrations, make a list of about 80 available domains. A few might get registered by the .co.uk/.org.uk/.me.uk registrants in those 2 months. Also you might lose out on a few domains to other landrush people on the big day. You should still end up with a nice chunk of erealestate, if you plan it well.

.UK is is a great domain extension that were finally opened up; not many people can benefit from it though since it is restricted to UK addresses.
