Hi people,

started to read about copywriting.

Get a task to write 5 alternate headlines for each of the following:

7 Healthy Foods that Turned Out to Be Unhealthy
8 most useless workouts ever
10 best horror movies of all times

How to practice this, any article or books about this, or some samples to get ideas...

on my own opinion copywriting its very important buts is something that you have to put your own twist on, just like banner or LP creation ,use catch phrases or slangs aswell to split test, just go ahead and do it compare results

Something else to consider is the niche you're writing for e.g. weight loss, health and fitness, etc.
Different niches have certain headline templates that work better than others picked at random.

You can learn a lot on google reading blogs about copywriting. However, you must put into practice what you read, try to A/B test subject lines/headlines etc...see what works best, change one thing at a time when A/B testing

Try writing 25 headlines. Force yourself to write them. It will make you think outside the normal boundaries.

Then choose your craziest 3 and test from there..

I higly recommend your to read the "copyblogger"/"copywriting101" blog post and to download their ebook (free) they hae a lots of value...
i won't recommend my blog now because it's very new, but later i will write more 'deeper' content

Well, thinking up something "new" and "original" is very difficult. Most things have been done to death on the Internet. So what you want to do is look at the most successful blogs about your subject, and learn from them. Analyze how they use their headlines. Figure out what makes them catchy, what makes site visitors want to stay longer and read more. Good luck!

It has many many useful content.

You will take some time to go though everything that is on the site. But it is worth it.

You can start by examining the words used in your current set of headlines. What comes to mind? Can you make anything here more specific? For instance, 10 best horror movies of all times should be changed. Most people don't think best when they see horror. What other words would be more descriptive of a horror movie? What about, 10 most terrifying horror movies of the 21st century. Or, 10 horror flicks to chill your spine. Start with generic and go specific, that's especially true of descriptive writing.

Search for trend forums about your topics and make some research and analytics. Maybe some inspiration and meaningful ideas will leap in your mind. Just avoid hand-me-down ideas
