He Drives A $500,000 Car?

$5000 is not unreasonable,a $71,000 Porsche costs about $1400 per month to lease but $300 per day to rent.

That's $71k we're talking about $500k, plus they don't just let anyone
rent a $500k lambo, you have to have amazing credit, insurance, and
be older than 25 years old.

Back on topic guys... this topic imo isn't really about the price of a lambo. :)

tbh i'm not too sure what this thread is really about?

I'm getting a sense of envy and a hint of jealousy from the OP. Personally I think this dude should enjoy it while it lasts, because if it isn't hard earned it doesn't last and if it is then well done him. In the land of the overtly poor he must look like a goof driving that lambo around, maybe he should come on over to London, he will fit right in with the big city bankers.

I don't know if that guy is legit or not, but what he claims to do can be- look up venture capitalists.

Did everyone forget to read the words under the "Keeping it Quiet" title? In the main article he even says that he will not discuss his family background. Making alot of money is easy if you have access to insider information regarding government contracts.

A lil off subject here, but did you know while the average person will expect a stock return of 4% in a good market,a u.s. congressman will make at least 10%

"I need $5000 to start my company" he goes.. "Okay, but in return I want $6000 back in 1 month"...

So how did he reach $500,000 just for the car?
Not exactly sure what you're confused about. There's a lot of people in China... 10 of them come to him and give him $1000 for a one month loan and that's $10000 a month. Definitely enough to afford the payment on that car.

'Course, whether or not things would be as simple as you make them out to be is a whole different discussion.

Haha, fun, i've reading the EXACT same article in the newspaper here in Denmark as well...
Nice car btw... It's every mans dream to own one of those. ;)

Only wish I can be him someday. Sadly seen I will never be :(

That is because insider trading is literally legal for congressman.

This guy sounds like a cheap Venture capitalist.... with only 5K weak... USA equivalents invest millions into the idea tanks... but hell, that might just be the good ol' USA excess... not that this guy sounds much better.

This is what I get out of this article:

1. Dude runs an investment management company; translation...he gets the high-profiled, high-priced share holders, CEO's, stock-holders, etc., etc, ....people you don't often read about in the local news papers coming to him and saying "Here's X amount of money and here's our particular investment strategies we like" and we're looking for an "X" amount of return on that money within X amount of time...

NOTE: These high-profile investors could be bringing to the table anywhere from a few HUNDRED THOUSAND dollars, to MILLIONS of dollars...or for all we know....HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of POOLED money! What's "pooled money"...think of that as your weekly fantasy football/baseball league...everyone puts in x amount of money and who ever has the best playing player that week wins...

2. This dude takes all that money, finds ways to invest all that money in "strategies" that match what the investors are looking for.

NOTE: Those strategies could be short-term w/high risk, or it could be long-term, no risk or any fricking combination one can think of.

3. After a set time period, when the asset management company's (AMC) strategies pay off, the investors who pooled their money together get the type of returns they're looking for and AMC gets paid a small % of the overall cut, which to most people, is probably going to be more money then what they'll ever earn in a lifetime, but this dude does it every few months or what not!

4. Everyone walks away from a win-win situation!

5. Dude likes to buy expensive cars because he's got a small di** and thus, has no real way of impressing the women! LOL!

An economic disaster awaits China the only question is when:

Sounds like Mafia Money to me. I give you the money you need to survive, you give me half your profits every month for the rest of your life.

More likely he's got strong government connections.

Maybe his parents are in Govt party members. As in the article there is talk about that. Also at the end is something about spoiled kids spending their family fortune.

As he says " don't dare to ask about family background" should tell something about them not being some poor farmers.

Some chinese girl had blog of her jet set life with bentleys and shit. She said her BF being in high position of some organization.

I have no doubt that the members of chinese govt are rich as hell.

Too many assumptions. Who knows what exactly he does but I guarantee it isn't $5000 loans.

He is a great example of why it is good to make government connections and do favors etc.
