HBG MMO Log (Consulting + Site Portfolio)

whats up guys,

This isnt my first journey thread but I will damn well make sure it will be the last. Quote me on that.

And it will be the one that I constantly update.

I have strict, clear, defined goals to take things a lot more seriously in my 30s ( turned 30 this year) and that means busting my ass with smart, correct, specific action.

I have two methods of making money online, after dabbling far and wide in everything I am going to cut it to just these. These are the 2 methods I know I'm good at, and can suceed at with intense focus


#1 Consulting
This is an active way of making money.

This involves:

• Picking a niche of people to offer my digital marketing consulting services to (mainly Paid Search - my day job, and FB Ads as well)
• Sales through cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn, building an email list, building a reelvant FB group.
• Positioning myself as an expert in the industry so people start reaching out to me and I make a name for myself.
• Signing multiple clients at $X,XXX / month.

Mostly money through clients paying me directly.


#2 Site Portfolio
This is a passive way of making money.

This involves:

• Ranking website via seo and smart backinling buying from right here on BHW. I have a few favorite sellers.
• Monetizing via CPA content locking and adsense. Fuck amazon associates, the ROI is too small.
• Monetizing via building an email list on the site and selling some products on clickbank etc if that's doable.

Mostly money through affiliate networks.

I have made money both ways and I am looking to be more consistent as I go forward with things. I might focus on one method over hte other more and more, here and there.

What I am focused on now though, is tracking stats, effort, money made and updating 1x/week minimum.

8.12 Update


Consulting: Have not been able to send out any cold prospecting emails because of some issues with the site portfolio, that changes this week.

Site Portfolio: Site was de-indexed due to spam issues, resolved them and re-submitted the site in search console for approval. Pissed about this. Hopefully by this time next week its fixed.

8.18 Update

Whats up BHW,

So I feel like the ball is starting to roll a little bit. I'll get right into it.

A. Consulting

Had a talk with my mentor today. Picked a niche, got a few cold emails out the door, and my mentor suggested prioritizing likedin. I will do exactly that. Going to create a 2nd profile for cold prospecting for clients ,and try and get a few on the phone. Looking forward to a positive update here soon.


B. Site Portfolio

Unfortunately Main Site #1 is still de-indexed because of the spam penalty and I have at least another week to go. Damn it. This could take up to 2 more weeks before I hear back from them. Super annoying, but after I went back and fixed the spam issues, I added a new page (3,000 words) and hope to see that's indexed as well soon. Site now has a strong backlink profile and if I can just get it reindexed...it'll be a money maker.

Site #2 - brand new - is on the way, ordered a 5K word article to serve as the home page, and going to get the ball rolling there as well. I will update once we're going.

8.24 Update

1) Site Portfolio

Started website 2 & posted the 1st of what are hopefully many, many money-making article in future.

Still waiting on website 1 to be reindexed.

Just purchased back links for website 1, unfortunately, not sure if that site is going to be re-indexed again ahahaha. Most likely will.

2) Consulting

Sent out a few emails, hell yeah! Had a conversation with a 1st cold client (who ghosted me), still, hell yeah! the ball is starting to roll here. I may also check into upwork as well over time.

9.22 update: still working on getting site of 1st rankings back, purchased a new niche site and will be moving forwrad with work there

Just cold outreach - Ill be honest, sometimes it's a bit hard to get attention from people. What I'm doing right now is, I crated a custom profile on Linkedin and I'll reach out to people in my industry with a connection request and go from there.

9.29 Update

1) Site Portfolio

The majority of the action is happening here. I have purchased a new site off Flippa which brings my total of money making sites to 3. One has been tanked with a spam penalty, leaving the other two sites as my main focus for right now to pump up their rankings.

My latest site is a high value site which i was able to get for about half of the original asking price. I'm working on transferring that one in to my ownership tonight, and then will focus on getting some new content added to sites #2 and #3. I will be monetizing site #3 with an email list as well.

It's super important that I start making money consistently from my site portfolio - once that happens I can start focusing on scaling and working on improving my passive income generation.

Progress is slow and steady - I will bounce back from losing my income generator of site #1.

I haven't posted in a long time, sorry guys. I have some updates to share and will be doing so in the near future.
