There is ZERO problem for selling digital goods on the net, even on eBay. No matter if those are e-cards, gift cards, tickets, keys for sth, etc. The problem is that:
- When you get a limitation from eB and/or PP for ID card and PoA, you must provide those details from the acc;
- You need to use your "creativity" to create/make good invoices if (or even when) they want them from you;
- If you sells alot, the last limitation should be for a license from an authorized vendor for the goods, in order to be approved vendor.
Most people are being dropped are the very, very zero step - "how to get a VCC?" or "how to get a VBA?" If you want to do such things, that should be 0,1% of the whole job and the most easiest, lol. Start using your brains.
About the returns by the end of 2015 - you have 1 year to test many situations with many diff. Stealth accs. You can do the things by yourself. Selling from Stealth X1, then buying the item from Stealth X2, shipping it, then returning it from X2. What address should works? Can you use a dropshipping address? P.O. Box? Or even US Mail Forwarding Service address? And more... Questions that you must learn how the "system" works in order to be prepared for the "next big" crap from eB. The "big crap" from PP already came - 180 days period to return whatever you want (except some items and in some situations), starting by the mid of Nov.
For digital-related goods - of course there're alot of scammers, but your best thing is to drop those returns (refunds) to < 1-2% at max. So selling 100x, only few returns or so would be nice. There is no such thing when dealing online - always win-win. Always win-lose. Lose from chargebacks, disputes, claims, stolen PP/eB accs, original owner accs but payed through proxy/vpn/etc. or just wants money back. Generally not all buyers in the world are scammers, lol, and/or fraudsters.
People who sells digital things from their own sites - who get always fraud transactions as well, but they do many things to drop that rate < 1% or even 0,1%. So simple to understand, so hard to be implemented.
