for phones the stuff here is good info, however -- the BEST way to do this (imo) is to just get tracfones. it saves you from any mistakes and don't have to worry about not being able to call back or answering the wrong name/info.
i get them for $5-$10 when on sale, and stock up. This gives you an actual number. Get one with double minutes for life, comes with 20 mins to start. so plenty to set up all of your accounts text messages and your initial mc999 (that almost all new accounts now get when starting to sell). It'll leave you with some minutes for 2 months to get the account going. From there, if you keep the account you can renew with cheap minutes or have it fwd to other phones.
On theback of each phone i use a label that has all the basic info, user name, name, phone number, birthday etc. They use the same charger so it's easy to keep it charged. This may not be the best for every1 because people are lazy/cheap, however, it's the best way for me (and the people i teach).
