Hey, sorry about that, but maybe I can help! Usually people make stealth accounts with the location that are still around there area. For example people If you live in the Chicago area, they will will make a stealth account with an address that is in the same city or close by, so buying a trace phone would still cover that area! Also people can use google voice, and pick out there area code. If I live in Cali, I can get a google voice to make my phone number look as if I live in NC, or any other state! Also there are other services that narrow it down even more for location!

Guess some of you have not had this happen yet is why no one has the answer.
I can call in with a tracfone also but this is only for confirming location only and a tracfone will not work for this "confirm your location".

This shouldn't be happening when you withdraw or send money unless you are trying to send a lot at one time.. or the account wasn't verified right when it was being made! Once a account is made correctly there shouldn't be anymore problems. I mean everyone runs into a few bumps here and there but nothing like this.

For next steps, please see the email we sent to your messages in My eBay. Once the requirements in that email are met, you can reply to the message to appeal the selling limit on your account."

I didn't get an email with any requirements, so I was a little confused. I called customer support and they told me I needed to fax them invoices for my product and let them know where I am getting my product. I am having my stuff drop shipped to customers and I know ebay doesn't like that sooooo...now I am wondering is I should try and create my receipts and what if they try and check them?

I started selling 2 months ago already had the MC999, I had one customer open a case against me, but I made good on it and ebay sent me a thank you email.

it will take 3 days for them to activate my account after they receive the invoice, right now I am dead in the water.

I have no idea how to proceed...do I create an invoice? What if they check?

Any advice you could give me would be great.

I would love to know how to set up a stealth account.

Need help with paypal. I created an account for my comapny, everything legit. I tried to lift the limits of my account, I have sent all the requested papers and no answer back from paypal in months and also no lifitng of limits. What to do ?

ahh yes the dreadful email... i totally understand what you are saying! You have many questions.. and so did I when I got my account limited that faithful day 4 years ago! But things are better now, because I understand how eBay works.

Why don't you shoot me a pm, and I will help you out with everything! I will also show you how to set up a new Stealth account, and how you can run MANY ACCOUNTS! Start making the big bucks!

I have a question regarding the account before I can assist you. Did you/have you sold on this account, and the account has been limited. Or are you just setting the account up for the first time! This could be an easy fix if its a new account, and you have never sold before!

Other forums are also reporting this happening. I tried to withdraw 75.00 and got the message to confirm your location by using a landline phone. Fully verified and the account was made by one of the best account sellers on the net period. So it is a random thing that seems that no one has the answer to.

Well if this account was made by "one of the best" sellers on the net then its best to have him "VERIFY" your LOCATION. As a account seller that is there duty! If you need help with anything else let me know! :)
 
You don't know how good it is to find someone that this has happened to, not that I'm glad it happened to you but I have been researching this for 2 days to no avail.

Help would be SOOOOOO appreciated!

Have you had an ebay store or currently have one?

Have you found it makes much of a difference to the amount of sales?

I am dropshipping from china, getting 7-10 orders a day but with low profit margins, so i am looking to find a few ways to increase sales. If you have any advice it would be appreciated.

I sell on ebay uk and pay to make the advert international.

Great thread, I appreciate all the help.

I have a few questions:


  • Do you have any tips for staying under the radar when selling high-risk items?
  • How long would you wait in-between sales to re-list a high-risk item?
  • As yo said earlier, eBay uses an algorithm to determine who and what gets first page listings, based on first-day views, watchers, etc... Do you know of any ways to 'game' the eBay SEO algorithm? I'm sure it can be done...
  • Are eBay feedback trading circles a good idea? Safe?
  • Do you use a scale of some sort to determine a point at which you feel comfortable selling riskier items? (For example; 0-30 low-risk only, 31-75 low or medium, 76 + all items)
  • Does receiving an MC999 on 1 item at one point in time increase your risk when dealing with other items? That's to say, does it put more eBay eyes on you?

That ended up being more questions than I expected, but as of now I can't remember seeing answers to them.

And I'd be more than happy to take a look at your eBay Stealth guide, EbayUltimate! :D

You are confused badly. I am asking about paypal, not ebay. Completely different situation.
If you know all of this how come you do not understand the question? Many are having to phone verify paypal to confirm their location, not ebay.
Tracfones will not work to verify location on a paypal account or did you not know that?

This questions is about paypal only, nothing to do with ebay.

No it is not there duty once I buy the account it is mine. No one needs to verify your location on paypal when the account is made. So the seller of accounts is suppose to give lifetime support?

Yes, get me the answer to my question. How do you confirm location with paypal without using a landline?
Dont tell me tracfones or prepaids as they will not work with paypal.

You and the other new guy here tell us all you know everything about ebay and paypal and neither one of you can answer this question for some reason.
 
Waiting on the answer from the two ebay self proclaimed experts who are trolling this forum now to sell accounts.

They ask for a landline and do not give me the wrong answer over and over that google voice and tracfone work as they will not work for verification of "location" for paypal.

You act as if "WE" owe you something... lolol ...

All 7 of my accounts were made with tracphones (because they DO WORK, I just made 2 more accounts today with them), and the other 2 of my main accounts were made with google voice!

Good luck buddy! And with the "give me" attitude your going to get a lot out of people! Take care!!! :D
