Hi, I have a local business that offers a popular service in my city. I'm trying to run a Facebook Ad for this service but I'm after looking at how many different targeting options there are.. I don't know which ones would help bring in more calls. So any tips on what modifications I can make to target the right audience for this service. The service I offer at my store is iPad Repair Service. There is one major competitor who runs an ad on Facebook and has been for a long time so I have a good feeling it's bringing him lots of traffic. However my price for the exact service he offers is 20% less. So the first time I ran an ad focused just on iPad repair, it had a terrible return. The only targeting options I added were..... Ages 18-50. This was about 3 months ago. I just recently made another ad for the same service, and I added a few more targeting options. I added a behavior option that made it so it would target people who have signed on from an ipad 2, 3, 4, mini, and air. I just made the ad like 30 minutes ago.. with a small budget for 4 days. We'll see how that goes. But what really made me make this post is the option at the very bottom I saw for bidding for post engagement, impressions, clicks and others. All the ads I've ever made were bidding for post engagement... Is that good or bad? My thought on the "best bang for your buck" through Facebook would be to get lots of lots of impressions and pay for only likes or comments. This way since I have the phone number and address on the ad, people may call for info without liking it or commenting it. As you can tell, my thoughts on Facebook marketing are very scattered. I don't know much about it, except that I really, really need to find a marketing strategy for my business that works. Any advice or tips would be helpful. Thank you.
