Hey everyone, hope this all finds everyone well. I need help — I’ve been stressed trying to figure this out.

I started a Local SEO agency and got my first client, and man, it’s been rough. Re-reverification after re-reverification, suspension, reinstatement… since I’m a little new to this game, I was really just trying to get hands-on experience.

The main issue I’m encountering is this:

Originally, I wanted to add the client’s home address, but I got rejected. I noticed there were no options to verify through phone, email, or postcard — nothing like that — just video verification. And that’s when it began. Trying to bypass it, being sneaky, but Google just caught on.

I ended up saying “f it, we’re doing a SAB,” and I bought citations about a month ago and didn’t really see anything — still terrible rankings. So then I’m going to PBN them, hoping I see a jump. I also dont know if im getting ahead of my self. I am getting consistent reviews though for the client, finding random people, friends, and family. Also, GBP post automations I built to keep it fresh.

I’m just hoping someone can point me in the right direction, and whether I should try doing a home address for the next clients — but how would I even do that without getting clapped by Google with video verification?

Is that the only way I could’ve gotten this client results faster? - And if it is, i want to learn what i can do better for the future.

Struggling to rank a Service Area Business (SAB) on Google is
common because proximity to physical addresses heavily
favors storefronts
This is absolutely true.

And when you created the SAB listing, then it didn't require you to do the verification?

If the competition is low, you will eventually rank with proper optimization and reviews that include your keywords.

And reviews are the most important factor in local SEO.
