Having trouble getting videos to trend now

I've recently been having trouble getting videos to appear in recommended and making them explode like I used to. I'm using the highest quality high retention views from Top4SMM and their shares.

Are you all doing drop feed views on older vids that slowly add views each day? I get extremely high engagement from all my subscribers but I'm missing the black hat method of getting videos to get recommended after these latest YouTube updates.
