Having trouble getting sites indexed...

I have been building about 10 niche sites a week for the past 2 months and I have noticed that google seems to hate indexing my sites.

I do the common things like submitting to all the sites on s*cialmarker, submitting articles on g*articles and e*ineArticles, tried the suggestion in this post: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...8-google-indexing-backlinks-really-quick.html, have added the sites to webmaster tools, submitted a sitemap, added analytics, and pinged the sites and articles submitted.

My sites are 100% unique content, validated at w3.org for xhtml and CSS, and have proper SEO done. (I have been building websites as a full time living for over 6 years, in fairly certain that's not the issue)

On average it takes about 3 weeks for my sites to get indexed. It is happening across the board with all my sites. It's not a big deal by any means as google eventually indexes the sites and they get crawled and ranked as they should.

However, I'm interested to know if its something I'm doing (or not doing) or if google is like a bartender and just wants to ignore me as long as possible...

google loves wordpress blogs and indexes them fast instead of normal websites. perhaps that could be the reason. more backlinks and video marketing will make your task easy.

I will do my next batch of 10 on WP and see if that makes any difference....thanks

You dont mention where you host them

if you have the option to try a few with different IP addresses try that

googles having a big thing about same IP addresses for sites at present, you may find google is seeing all these new sites appearing and deciding they cant be very useful as they all come from 1 IP address

Agreed with using WP as your platform. You can also get gangster with it and use a tool like LFE to get a swarm of backlinks.

cedric2, thank you for the link, but if you notice in my OP i listed that as one of the things I tried, unless you are referring to something in the thread later on that I missed.

I have noticed the same. And I DO use WP, so that has nothing to do with it, I guess Google is just slower now

i have been using wordpress, with unique content, submitting to socials ( even some of them are indexed on page 2), and built edu and gov backlinks. Still 2 weeks without being indexed.

I'm thinking it may have something to do with the IP as stargate mentioned. I use WP for 99% of my sites and I usually have no problem getting indexed within a few days.
Once you start using WP make sure you grab the feeds and and hit as many RSS aggregators as you can. Add video and mass distribute it with Heyspread. I think you'll start getting indexed a lot quicker.

3 potential options would be

- to get a friend with an indexed site to link your site for a day and it should pop up on google.

- sneak a link onto a semi related Wikipedia 'external links' entry section

- if you Digg one of your articles it will index the site in about 5 minutes

Are they on new domains or old domains?

As mentioned in the OP, I submit to all at socialmarker (which includes digg)

I'm a little skeptical on the IP idea...Only because many of the large hosting companies out there who offer shared packages use single IPs for large groups of domains. Seems to me that google wouldn't want to penalize based upon hosting environment. However, I intend to test this on another dedicated server with some extra IPs available.

Like I had mentioned before, its by no means a big deal. I am just curious as to why some people can get indexed in a matter of minutes while it takes a few weeks for me. I appreciate all the suggestions and ideas everyone has posted. Thanks!
