Having success.... now lost

Hey guys,


So long story short I'm having a website that is proffiting an average of ?4,000 on monthly basis. However, I have been working about 5-6 hours a day for this site in order to make what I have now. However, it doesn`t rank well in G or anything like that, it's affiliate products and I have found customers for it manually (lol)

However, the niche is one of the most competitive out there and I truly don't want to go deeper. I tried to invest in some really expensive advertising methods but when messing with the big guys it's always hard.

Now I just leave it to the river flow and my bussiness will slowly die in 6-7 months time period (it's just I want to have more free time and do something better)

So before I was full of ideas and I tried some of the methods here with the microniche sites and such - well none of them worked as a money making machine hehe. Obviously my plans are to rise my proffit to something like 10-15k/month or even more.

Also I'm a complete nooby when it comes to programing, SEO, desgining, etc. I just get an idea and pay ppl to create websites for me.

So I'm looking to make a website that will be generating a good income. I have some very good unique ideas of websites but it's definately hard to make an authority site and rank it good, there will be 3-4-5 months without any revenue which is killing... you know

In my country the average salary is ~350? and as you can guess I have good capital to start with.... I just don't know where to start.

What about the plan to pick a niche (Niche where I can sell products and get affiliate comissions, and advertising at the same time?), get something unique that other sites doesn`t have it, get a website, make a lot of very good content (I have 2 girls making amazing articles at cheap rates), valuable info, hire a SEO company and ... wait for the outcome?

I'm really lost, everything that my mind come up with looks to be so hard that it's not worth it. Of course I can pick 10 methods of "easy money" and not sure income, but thats risky and not so good in my opinion.

Please give me your opinions, sorry for the mistakes - english is not my 1st language obviously... not even my 2nd ...

First, invest in a SEO Software tool. There are three good ones I know of, but I have only used two. 1.) Brute Force EVO II- It is awesome! Get it started, and it will do the rest all by itself including solving captcha for free. It's $1 for a 3-day trial, then it's $157 per month. You can run it several times a month or a week, also, you could use it to get some customers who want you to do SEO for their business as another way to make money. 2.) Venom SEO Pro- Haven't used it personally, but have heard it works great, and it's free for 7 days, then like $50 a month. 3.) SE Nuke X- I used the older version, and it was good. Haven't used the new one, but it's around $140 a month, plus you have to buy credits from another company to solve your captchas. I would easily recommend Brute Force EVO II personally. SEO software will work very quickly, and should save you a ton of time.

As far as paying people to build you a website, I would stop wasting my money doing that unless you suck at designing websites. I would recommend using: 1.) WIX 2.) Webstarts 3.) Homestead. They are all easy to use. I use WIX currently, and I have used webstarts which is good too. I would stay away from the godaddy software. It is horrible, everything about it sucks. The templates are crappy, arranging things is difficult to make them line up properly, etc. Hope this info will help you out.

Well done on your success so far, why don't you try and capitalise on your high monthly income and sell the site-I don't know too much about valuations but from what I've read you could net yourself 40-50k from this. Why not sell it, party in thailand for a few months while investing the rest of the cash?

wow u r a noob and make that much monthly and u get customers manually lol ... with that much money per month head over to btb's newest thread..buy 20-30 micro niche sites with seo and chill..wna know how u manage this much though being a noob lol i wish i could be that much of a noob..kidding

Sell the site and get out now. I hear ya on knowing your income is limited and that you can't scale up. Most niches are like this.

There's a big reason why websites only sell one year earnings and way less than brick and mortar businesses. Because even white hat website is risky as hell.

I am similar situation to you. I sold some stuff. I think I'm going to leave marketing and go back to just working a regular job and saving then reinvest my savings.

Not many people get rich from internet marketing. People bullshit all the time.

Exactly.

There's no sane reason to let you ?4k/mo business just die - sell it now while the revenues are still up and you will get a nice lump sum to play around with. Maybe not 40-50k as mungus suggests above (due to the fact that revenue needs to be adjusted taking into account the hours you're putting into the site) but even 20k is a whole lot better than 0.

I did not really understood what you are selling, but if it is a product (products) you could try expanding your business to other markets and pick up more clients this way.

I am in the same situation - I sell phone spare parts (Nokia, iPhone, HTC, etc), the competition in my country is fierce but my prices are better that anything you find in Europe. So I am trying to setup an international webshop (already bought another domain) or get into dropshiping (as I have very good supliers)

The niche is poker, not actually sellling products.

In my opinion you don't have to be a pro at building websites/designs/SEO/whatever to make good income on the internet. The owners of the restaurants don't know how to use the cofee machine most of the time hehe. If you are smart enough you can do it...

Can't sell my bussiness now... new legislation in my country. However, I got a lot of inspiration and already building new sites and opening an offline bussiness. Also decided to try to establish my current bussiness. I will invest a lot less time on it, trying to stable it to 3k/m or something like this...

Hey, don't sell your website. From what I read it's pretty successful and will continue to be. However, if your final decision is to sell it, make sure you get a lot of money You wrote that because of new laws (?) in your country, selling it is not a viable option. Well, look for a foreign buyer.
So, about the SEO software, I would really recommend SEnukex. Yeah, it's expensive, but it really does the job. That's what I call a nice investment.

Find your passion, research your market, and then service it better than anyone else.

Why dont you hire a worker to make up for that 5-6 hours a day so you can still keep your current site and at the same time you focus yourself on new sites?
