Having multiple cash sites on the same Hostgator account?

Hi all, I've only been part of the Blackhat scene for a few months, but I got my first site to page 1 in its niche. I bought two new sites in niches I think I can compete in. A friend of mine told me that having multiple cash sites hosted from the same Hostgator account and thus IP is a bad idea. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks in advance. By the way, I am using Blackhat techniques on these sites if that matters.

Hostgator is just a crap hosting environment in the first place. It's cheap for a reason. But in regards to the IP's, your on shared hosting. Which means that you share your IP's with probably hundreds of other website's.

Not a good idea. If you are blackhatting they may deindex your ranking site and all others on that ip. Getting another ip is not that expensive.

I do appreciate the fact that you are trying to help OP out but next time please do have a look at the thread's creation date , this one is back from 2012 and OP's last activity dates back in : 8-19-2014
