No i learned my lesson on that before since the algorithm shows your videos to previous viewers based on habits. Im mostly having issues getting off the ground since the channel is new i cant seem to rank for search or even survive one view in suggested. Could also be the fact that battlefield 2042 isnt searched for very often so i feel like i have to rely on suggested which i cant get since i really dont have any audience data. Or even an audience for that matter.

I used an account and viewed from suggested and got a small push only a hand full stuck around atleast 50% the rest left within a few seconds so im thinking youtube just needs time to learn what audience to show the video too.

Yes and i looked again last night my analytics were wrong apparently it can take some time for the analytics to become more exact and based on my newest video it looks like viewers are watching longer so maybe youtube is finding me a better audience. Most videos are primarily getting views from homepage and recommended. Like you said it takes time and im starting to see a trend of youtube learning what viewers actually watch the video. Im aware of suggested algorithm but i will need better metrics to get there seems they drop a suggested if it dips below %16 ctr or a certain watch time. So i will strive to learn and make better content and it should get better overtime. Honestly my content isnt good my audio is bad and my commentary is terrible so i will work on those 2 things this coming week.
Great, work on the metrics that you have identified and check the results in few days. I am sure there will be improvement. See social media is all about consistent efforts and not giving up midway. So just make sure you make more good quality videos for your audience, you will be amazed by the results.
