Well i think 27 years its a considerable age to have a girlfriend as at this age many people have 1 or 2 childs

If your studies are complete then yes, you should.
During studies, it can cause distractions if you have particular goals.
Though you can manage studies with the relationship too but it depends if you can keep the things separate or not.
Work usually go in parallel with the relationship. Work will continue till a retirement age so it should not stop you from getting involved in relations.
Don't worry of the age, just make sure you are with the right person or not.

The decision to have a girlfriend at any age ideally should depend on your emotional readiness and not your financial situation. Love and wealth are not mutually exclusive, you can pursue both simultaneously.

Honestly, I've only had one serious relationship in 28 years, the one where I introduced the girl to my family. That was when I was 17, and I understood that to be successful, if you have a girlfriend or wife, you're at a big disadvantage compared to those who don't. Most of the big achievements I've made were because I took big risks, something that is harder to do when you're married, as you'll put your wife and children first, which is the right thing to do. So, I decided to focus on myself in recent years so I can enjoy life now
