Haven't made a post since December 9th

I have a blog centered aound one affiliate program I was doing ok with it, but during the holiday season I had to work crazy hours and I let it slip. My question is this, can this blog be saved? If I start pumping out content can I still rank it or is it a lost cause?

I have a site that hasn't been updated since August, hasn't lost rank, hasn't suffered. It has gained a few natural backlinks in that time.

Nope, you can continue with the same site. If you have not worked on it doesn't mean that the site is dead. Revive it with fresh content and fresh backlinks.

Dear Mate,
There won't be any problem with the breaking of one or two months.
As like @Sristy mentioned add new contents and build links. It would be fine
