Hey guys,

I was checking the spam folder of my gmail account (it happens once a year!) when I found a link to this:

http://www.successwithanthony.com/v2/live/newmain.php

The guy pretends to be placing a pop-up when someone clicks on a youtube video. I don't see how he could be doing that. Except with paying a display linked to a tool-bar previously installed on the web browser of the Youtube user.

What do you think of that? Am I correct in my suppositions about how this can work?

Well, is he saying he could do that to an embedded video (in his site), or directly on the youtube video at youtube.com? Since the former is pretty easy to accomplish, while the latter is not possible

He says he can do it ON Youtube. :p He also speaks about CPC.

So my guest is that he's using a network which displays ads thanks to an adware (within a tool-bar for example). When the browser opens a certain URL (which is in the list he created), it opens an ad. I don't see how this could be done otherwise...
