Have you ever used your marketing powers for evil?

I'm sure we've all been in the situation where a person or company has screwed us over. With your knowledge of internet marketing have you ever used your powers for evil in order to act out revenge or get money back etc etc?

In a world where online reviews and search engine rankings are everything to a company, it's very easy to damage businesses with black hat marketing knowledge.

A couple years ago I subscribed to a plane hire service that was advertised as unlimited plane hire and super cheap. I'm sure the sales team would've told me it cured cancer had I asked. After paying my membership fee and trying to use the service I was then told a maximum of 2 hires. Shocked I then asked for my money back but was denied. Frustrated I then put up a blog about the company calling it out for a scam that it was, plus some negative SEO on their main keyword. Within a matter of days they contacted me and asked me to remove the blog, sign a NDA and they'd refund my money.

I've recently got back from Peru in which an airline cancelled my flight and left me stranded, my only option was to pay $4500+ for a flight home from another aireline! Now it's a nightmare to get my money back for the cancelled flight! *puts on my black hat*

back in the early 2000's a site i use to work for, we had a falling out.
i felt the hrs i worked didnt reflect what i was payed, so i tried to sort something out
in return they insulted my wife , i countered that with a quick move of where
has your website gone [ it vanished ] . this was 15 yrs ago looong time when i was on the
wrong side of the light , now im a good guy working solo.

did you negotiate additional payment afterwwards?

back in 98 when i first came online, i fell in with wrong crowd for
2yrs , they like to make things disappear. in 2000 when the ideas
and possibilities of the net opened upto me, i went solo, for 6 yrs
those people dogged me, but, i also learned how to hit people
where it hurts as yoda learned well

after insulting my wife, there was nothing to negotiate except my
middle finger as i walked away. when you have worked for people
online for few yrs u soon learn your worth, going rate
but, for a person who works hard, to ask for a little more and rather than get
a polite no. insults my family, wrong move.

so i caused the user a minor annoyance , removed his sites,
that was my middle finger to him, and b4 u ask, i havnt been
that user in 13 yrs, hes long time gone.

now i work online for me. and try to do right by people

Thoughts for getting my money back from the airline that cancelled my flight? I'm going to file a EU small claims case, but I'm also thinking of a sending out a false press release.

Has anyone ever launched a fallse press release from a company they aren't keen on?
