never used it but looks risky. many pumps fail fast.

as a dev, i know about that a bit
super easy to do
name, pic, ~$2-3 in SOL, done in 60 secs
but 99% die quick or get rugged and sniped
some dudes accidentally hit 600k mc in days, others lose their shirt cuz no marketing and community is instant dump
if it moons, u get aura and haters calling rug, then port drains anyway
one guy said he insta candled to 13 mil as a joke, burnt supply
got called scammer for months, then made mid 7 figs off dust trades
another launched for fun and it just faded

Yes. Very useless. You will never find any serious memecoins on pump.fun, so if you're looking to launch a serious memecoin, it's simple... don't launch one there.

All i know is that it's not hard to launch your own coin there.
On the other hand there are so many shitcoins created that if you dont have a good project around your coin with built-up audience and hype already
it will be like a small fish in the ocean that will die early. The chances of finding a good coin to throw some bucks there to make a return are pretty low i would say

I can’t find the post anymore (it was probably removed), but I remember that last year someone here on the forum suggested launching a meme coin from BHW where we’d all pump it together, promote it aggressively, and then rug-pull the Crypto Twitter mfs LOL
