Have you ever bought a money-making method that actually worked?

I wanted to bring up a topic that’s been on my mind for a while.
These days, the internet is full of courses, “systems,” guides, secret PDFs, and all kinds of digital wisdom from self-proclaimed business gurus.
But I’m curious has anyone here actually bought something that worked?
I’m not talking about those times when you pay and get 4 vague sentences and a link to a bot chat.
I mean something real: you paid, understood it, applied it and it actually delivered results.

P.S. My SMM guy, Mr. Abrocadabra, paid for access to a “private millionaire chat.”
Now he logs in daily to read the admin saying “just a little longer” and see Binance balance screenshots.
No instructions, no real plans but every day there are fresh memes about wealth, TikTok yacht videos, and heated debates about which car everyone’s going to buy “right after the first payout.”

I have never, following this thread. I think people buy a pdf that says, "how to scam" for $500 and it is instructions to make and scam someone doing the same thing

If there are methods that work, then best believe some of them would be packaged as courses of ebooks and sold to people. If you buy them and accurately apply the method, you'd definitely make money.

Issues arise when people package and sell methods they've not tested themselves to be sure they work.

I have not done that though. Perhaps, if the systems and courses are done by those known business gurus within the industry then it's worth a shot. It will cost a lot of money for sure.

But your SMM guy, who got an access to a private millionaire chat - it's the frequency, vibration, and energy might help him perhaps achieve his goal.

I don't really know much about money-making methods, but when I pay for a course, that's the feeling I get from it.

I just want to upgrade my skill so I can use it to make money. That’s how I see it.

I don’t usually buy into those quick money schemes though

You bring up a great point so many “gurus” out there, but finding something with actual value is like finding a needle in a haystack. Anyone here had a course or guide that actually paid off? Would love to hear real success stories

Most ppl won't share if a method worked. But if you stick around the forum long enough, you'll eventually notice some ppl bragging from time to time when a method actually works (not talking about obvious reviews).

Anyway, there's free methods that work just as well as paid ones on this forum, so good luck digging.

None of them. Almost all the methods we see normally are published when they dont work, are saturated.

I never have this mindset when I buy any EBook OR course. Sometimes I get review copies too so there is that.

Bottomline, have a realistic mindset.

You have to add a twist to that method before you can earn from it.

Man, this hit home I’ve definitely been down that road — from $17 PDFs to “exclusive” Discord chats full of motivational GIFs and zero execution.
That said, I have bought a few things that delivered. The ones that actually worked had a few things in common:
  1. They were simple — no 100-hour video course, just a clear method, some examples, and a strategy I could act on right away.
  2. They focused on distribution, not just product — like a Reddit strategy that helped me get actual traffic to CPA offers.
  3. They didn’t promise millions — the real ones always under-promised and over-delivered.
Ironically, most of the stuff that worked wasn’t hyped at all — usually came from low-key sellers who clearly knew the game but didn’t care about flashy marketing.
Your “millionaire chat” story is gold, by the way. I’ve seen those — nothing but memes, screenshots, and “wait till Q2” vibes
Curious — have you ever taken one of those vague systems and actually reverse-engineered something useful from it?

Our SMM guy is a bit too hopeful.
He really thinks the millionaire chat vibes will magically attract money to him

I have never bought these methods, as most of them are fake. Instead, it's better to focus on developing your own successful digital marketing strategy.

No. Not the direct method.
But some of them did give a few ideas.

It was a few years a go now but I bought Russell Brunsons ListBuildingAnarchy course. I bought 1000 email leads for $1000 I think it was...then mailed out clickbank offers to the list. I made about $2k in revenue so about $1k profit in the first month. That was promoting Steve Iser's Commission Crusher course! happy days.

Yes. I bought my mentorship when I did dropshipping in 2022. Worked like a charm!

You’ll find plenty of options out there, some people sell low-value courses on making money, while others share their methods after finding success. On the flip side, some courses are made for beginners and may not be useful for someone with experience.

Tried few, they didn't work. But had few where you can learn something interesting, find useful links, and maybe add personal changes, it could work.
