have you ever actually gotten to first page on Digg?

Seriously, I submit TONS of stuff to digg, all the sort of crap that you always see in the popular section (funny pics and shit like that)

And I have never gotten more than 10 diggs

it seems like its impossible to get to the first page
so please fill in this poll

Got there 100% white hat submitting a news story before others could.

It's all in the power of your people. I personally use a Digg/Reddit/stumble upon list of people on IM (250+ people) to help me do what I want to do. This is something I built up in less then two days. If your looking for a digg hit me up on AOL IM (diggslappies) be perpared to do the same back. If I'm online on that account I'm good to help out. Another hint. Let others submit your story if your promoting your own stuff. Two many submissions from the same person for the same site will = nothing. You will never hit homepage that I know of no matter how many people digg it. If you hit the home page it's worth anywhere between 8,000 - 50,000+ unique. Good luck and I hope this helps people out.

i have tried everything. obviously i try to benefit from it (by putting the content/image/video on my blog/site or whatever), but i have submitted stuff from sources other than my own, and just never made it.

i actually had a dream that one of my submissions made it last night. thats sad

I've never even had a digg lol, put lots of submissions in but no joy, But I keep trying I will get there eventually.

It is not that good to get 1st page of digg.. I did that and my servers went down then always..

I've had a few articles that I've written hit the front page. I didn't submit them. So yes, I've done well, but no, I didn't submit them myself.
