Have massive IG audience, have a few ideas

Hey all, so I have a HUGE audience on one of my IG pages (around 100k+ followers, 10-12 million impressions a week, 11-13k likes per post and tons of comments). Not going to state the niche because you would easily know who I am, but my followers seem to enjoy gaming content as I've been posting stories lately of watching gaming streams like Summit1g and others. I get hundreds of DMs responding to the story and they're all either subs or know who they are.

So what I am thinking about doing is getting back into gaming content (was into it back in 2010-2013 and quit because of school). Specifically, streaming on Twitch. I think I could get partnered pretty easily, especially with advertising the stream through this IG. What do you guys think? What are your experiences with streaming?

I have a great PC for streaming, 2 different audio technica mics from my YouTube days, and 100/100 Internet. So I have the equipment and plenty of bandwidth to do it.

I'm an avid Twitch addict, and gained a small following streaming some years ago.

With your ability to build a following, and the fact you have such a large following already, I'd say it's totally possible.

But, I will add Twitch (especially nowdays), is very competitive.

You've gotta have a strong personality, and be able to entertain 500+ viewers for long periods of time.

Streaming sounds like a joke, but it's actually a 40+ hour a week job and is extremely mentally taxing and socially exhausting.

Another thing to consider, is that until you get to a point where you're consistently holding 3000+ viewers per stream you're not going to be making much money, you'll probably end up making much more money with your Insta in the long run.
