Have investor, need idea

Hi All,
My old boss is a very successful business person and is always encouraging me to pitch him a great idea and he would help me to get it started financially. Thing is, I know a lot of this and that, but have not been very successful at all... half the time, i have a vague understanding of what I'm doing and end up breaking all the TOC and getting slapped on the wrist.
He won't take any idea, but one that's innovative and requires little effort (meaning, he hopes I'll come up with some type of on-line cash cow).
Thing is, my coding is weak - can only edit other peoples code, and my design skills are so-so...no excellent kung-fu here)
Any suggestions would be great!

maybe if your idea is good we can work together?

This is probably what you will end up investing your bosses money in. Someone who scours forums night and day just hoping to catch a fool with a bit of money.
 
Go to the making money section and look and scour the land.

Where do people find these idiots with money?

Your "boss" would be better off having you pick red or black - at least he stands a 50/50 shot....this approach of yours is much worse odds.
 
Tell him that your idea is to place all the money in red.

It's 50/50, either you go broke and start a life as a beggar or you make millions and f*ck russian hoes while drinking vodka.
 
Does this investment conversation go something like this ?

"Kid, if you can bring me a good investable idea I will back you 100%........Now go wash my fucking car"
 
The only working on-line cash cow as of today is the paypal money generator.
 
Why not just hire someone to code it for you since you can't yourself?
 
As someone suggested above, build some tool, maybe SEO related or build some general software and charge low fees but on a recurring basis. It can take upto 1-2 years(or 3-6 months if you hire a big team) to build a great tool/software but it can be worth it.
 
Ask him to go for some pension scheme ... I dont wish to play with others money ... :)
