Have I accidentally built a PBN?

I was just reviewing the Moz DA and Mozrank (using scrapebox) for a bunch of my domains to decide which to cull and which to renew. None of the sites generate money and don't have much traffic. But, and this is what I found interesting, five of the domains have a DA between 22 and 35. PA is between 29 and 42. All are indexed.

The majority are with the same registrar but all bar two are hosted separately.

So so could it be that I've accidentally built myself a little PBN? I can think of any footprints that would link the sites. They are all in different niches, but could I start diversifying the (quality) content I'm posting to allow me to create homepage links to sites I want to give an SEO boost to?

How can I bolster the potency of this little PBN or should I leave them alone?

I really want my own PBN so I'm optimistically hoping I might have given myself a head start.

Help!

What do the backlink profiles look like? Is there any spam?

Some had links built using No Hands SEO about a year ago (but only for the length of the free trial), the rest of the links were either built before the domain expired (most were expired domains) or have been built using contextual high PR campaigns in GSA SER.

no out and out blatant spam.

Sounds about right. Nowadays PBN is a very loose term that can apply to a lot of networks

Thank you!

So so it doesn't matter too much if any of these sites have posts that seem unrelated?

so if I have a weight loss site with about 100 articles on weight loss then can I start posting golf articles on the same site if I wanted to build a good link to a golf site?

Sorry for asking silly questions but if I'm now going to spend money developing this PBN I want to do my best to make sure it's a wise investment :)

We were just having this exact conversation this morning about 6 domains we have in the same situation. They were originally built to be money sites (thin, but waiting for indexing) and we have realized we want to focus harder on a couple sites that are paying well and rank them more / higher.

We just discussed whether to move these into the PBN category and work on developing some tier 2's to them more solidly or keep them as money sites just for another day. We know there is money in their niches and I think the one thing you have to remember is that a properly built pbn site can still make you money. Don't just think of them as link juice bait. A decently built pbn site can still rank for stuff and get traffic, that traffic can convert, so think of them as a tier 1 or 2 money site, but with much less effort.

Not advisable. Instead, find a way to include a link to your golf site within the weight loss articles. For example, "playing golf helped me lose more weight in addition to following the other tips mentioned in this article"

...that would be a paragraph from a weight loss tips article, and the phrase 'playing golf' would be an anchor text link to your golf site. Shoddy example but I hope you get the point.

Ah, you have just given me that road to Damascus moment I was hoping for. The PBN scales are falling from my eyes :)

If I could buy you a beer right now I would :).
