Have Ever Felt An Earthquake?

My first was yesterday.

Born/Raised in San Francisco, so yeah...I've felt my share of Earthquakes..

Scariest moment was during the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake when a few friends and I found ourselves in the basement of a local highschool...

I think that was the first time I ever laid down tread marks as I ran towards the door to get my ass outside ASAP!

My father was on the Bay Bridge during the collapse and wasn't that far from where one driver got seriously hurt when they didn't recognize the 'dip in the road'...seen here:

Earthquakes are ok to deal with...if you're in an open area with no massive buildings around....

Thanks for all the posts.. being a Cali guy for over 28 years do remember the Northridge quake

My least favorite is the rolling quakes ... the jolting type are OK but the rollers are the ones that send me into the doorways ... Be prepared for any disaster be it floods,tornado, hurricane or quakes have a plan of action before it is too late.

I don't think it was an earthquake. I think it was a nuclear device detonated underground as a warning.
