I am a foreigner, want to booking a hotel in Washington and I booked a hotel through bookingcom.
Can I trust it? Is It a safe website to book a hotel?
Is there a better choice?
I recently booked a room and rented a car. I went thru all those sites - Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, Booking, etc. I wound up getting the best rates for both on Priceline. Booking was one of the highest costing ones if I remember correctly.
i always book my hotels from booking, if the feedbacks are good book it. it is 100% safe. some rooms may be expensive; so find the hotels in booking review them, if you like it try to find and book the room through the hotels own website..also i use airbnb, sometimes studios are cheaper than hotels.
When u book for ex a hotel, i discovered that if i change your credit card numbers u can still confirm the booking because there is no charges untill u ckeck in at the hotel.
Played in my favor once when i failed to find the hotel...just walking around Amsterdam....
sometimes in europe they add secret hotels at a discount rate. The best deal around always.
So basically, no show no pay. However Air bnb is the coolest way. Staying local like a local, no hotel in the world can beat that.
