Hi,
I was exploring my competitor backlinks. During this process what I found was something strange to me, he is creating .edu backlinks and I am attaching screenshot of that link, this is not single link he is creating multiple backlinks in this way and has higher DA.
how to create this type.png
If you have any idea about this backlink then share the method how to create.

You are seeing it as a quality edu backlink but these are few of assignments of some students. If you move up in the directory then you can see other assignments too. These might be not intentionally created by your competitors, might be just linked randomly by teachers/students.

Ahh man,
Don't you see the anchor text? If this was an assignment then why he/she didn't used the proper headings and design?

This is a student in a web development course, these people don't know the proper headings or design procedure because it's a beginner course.

The URL goes to a college offering a CS 160 Website Development course. Go to this link and scroll down on the right hand side to number 18 and look for "Computer Science". See here: https://brynathyn.edu/_media/documents/Current-Course-Catalog.pdf

Someone is testing out how to use html with an example page about flowers. It makes sense that the example link is going to be to flowers.com

Who knows, maybe signing up for cheap basic computer courses (as long as they're virtual) on various colleges so that you get access to a section of your own web space there is a viable tactic?

I do agree.

Your competitor is targeting a specific audience. So should you :)
