Have a question about ad pricing

One of my personal blog sites I run, someone contacted me and wanted to run an ad on the left side of my site. Its in the gaming niche. Gets about 300 page hits a day. Not really sure what I should charge them for this. Anyone have an idea? Never had someone ask for this before. I know people do it. Trying to get price idea.

I would say if you're getting around 9k visits a month, try and sell 10k impressions and charge $3-$10 per CPM, or see if he would be interested in buying clicks,
if you have the analytics you'll know which one is more favorable to you.

Not exactly my field but i do have a note to share.
Usually ads on websites are generated dynamically, and are blocked by Different Ad Block extensions.
In your case, you will be supplied an Image to place somewhere on your blog just like other images you have, that means Ad Block wont be able to detect/hide the Ad from visitors. Its a good idea to mention this to the person so you can increase your price as everyone who visits your site will be able to see the ad.
P.S. if you want 100$ fee then make it 120$ to leave a margin for negotiation.
