Okay so I'm still working on my journey and im targeting a completely different niche and keywords from the US (I'm not from the US)

Anyways i came across a site from my own country in a different niche and uses local tld...

They use adsense...

I always felt targeting keywords in US is better but this makes me just feel like i should consider starting a local website however i think adsense payout would be lower as this is a third world country.

It gets 1 million of its users locally...

Just thought it's crazy, also i wouldn't be able to compete because difficulty with keywords is high and i don't have the money...

Yep, English is certainly not the only language where there's money to be made. It's always worth launching sites in your native tongue where you see a market or an opportunity
