After buying a domain + hosting package for a PBN I don't see any option to change the WhoIs Info nor does the hosting offer Whois Privacy. So... they've used my billing data for the purchase to populate it. Is it time to drop this domain alltogether? I've just seen my REAL data in the WhoIs, and I know there are whois services who offer reverse looksup and can check all the former users. Also, wouldn't this be a big footprint for google? Help plz!

What are you using? Almost every registar has WHOIS (often free).

Or did you register through the hosting company?

I managed to change the WHOIS already to a fake one, since this company doesn't provide Private WHOIS service. My question is: for 1 hour my real data (linked to my legit google accounts) was published on the Public Internet Whois. Should I forget about this project even though now it's already showing fake details? Could Google eventually find out this slip? Many thanks in advance!

Through the hosting company this time.

I would not stress about it.

If you did not spend a ton on getting it set up, and to give you peace of mind you could always set up another one with a host that does offer who is.

I think that there are service that allow you to check former Whois records and changes.

I would rather drop it if its a big issue for you.
