Hashtags

My account used to be on the top 9 for the hashtags I use
Now it's not there anymore. I have significantly more like on my pics vs the top 9

Any ideas? Thanks

algorithm changes and/or better/more competition.

The algorithm is more complicated than how many likes you have. I investigated a little bit on smaller hashtags and realized that the posts with less hashtags in it were favored over the posts with lots of hashtags ( usually 30 ). Also, it appeared it also mattered how much well performed the post considering the followers of the one who posted. For example a post with 60 likes ( user having 400 followers ) was favored over a post with 110 likes ( user having 1.5k followers).

Just ran top of popular for 500k hashtag using 3-4 hastags per pic on a 7.5k account with about 200-300 likes per pic.
With 20 hashtags per pic nothing happened
