    Hi guys,

So I've been testing a bit with two new accounts. One is in the comedy niche, the other in Luxury. What I noticed is when I use the top hashtags in both niches i get very low return of likes and comments. If I use the same picture + hashtags from the music industry the likes and comments go up. Though I feel most of them are bots. My question is what do you guys advice here:

    1. use the top hashtags per niche
    2. use upcoming and smaller hashtags and hope you will be tagged as 'popular post'
    3. don't use the same hashtags over and over again and have like 2-3 different sets of hashtags which relates more with the post

    thanks.

why music industry? i dont think #music is going to help you.

i think long tags are easier to get top posts, just like longtail keywords are easier to rank.

no i scraped some keywords that are related to the music business, #music is also one of those hashtags that are overused. i tried to select some good ones with iconosquare but no huge succss so far, yes the hashtags might have a lot of posts but when it runs into the millions there is simply zero interaction...
