Hashtags recent posts are hidden

So lately I've been noticing some hash tags are only showing top post. I'm wondering if this in anyway has a negative effect on accounts who use bots to like photos with certain hashtags. From my point of view, If Instagram doesn't allow you to see these recent posts, How in the world are you able to like them? Could this be a trigger to find spamming / bot accounts?

I agree with that but It also happened the day of #WWIM12, I notice the tag didn't show recent. Either way you could be right, the question still is can we get banned for liking these pictures using the bot? Third party applications still allow you to see recent posts.
