    Hello BHW,

Look time lurker in many different sections, first time poster. I recently started an instagram account not knowing anything about this magical instagram section of BHW. I knew nothing about bots, monetizing, SFS, or anything like that. Just decided to make an account in my niche in my spare time and see where it goes. Stumbled across some threads on here and blew my mind!

I've had my account active for about a month now and I'm at right around 150 Posts, 750 Followers, and under 10 Followed. I know it doesn't seem like much at all but this was all done by hashtagging. No bots or following then unfollow. Purely just hashtagging and posting 5-6 times a day.

My question is, is there any difference in long term building it this way compared to building it with a bot? I haven't looked too much into FL or any other bot but I just want to know if the account would be stronger building it the way I am rather than using a bot. I also do not want to get banned!

I'm excited to continue learning about this and see where it takes me.

Any advice would be appreciated. I initially created this not wanting to spend any money just to see how far I can take it on my own, but as I get further into it and continue reading on here, I seem to be getting drawn more and more towards a Bot.

    We'll see what happens!

hash tagging gets about 1% of the results as being proactive. I say proactive as opposed to "botting" because people assume that botting is the only answer. wrong. I did what follow liker does myself manually for a couple months before i even though about getting a bot. if you do it right, you will get better results from manually being proactive and doing the things you could be doing in follow liker. there are advantages to doing it manually.

as for hash tagging... its a waste of time by itself. people think that if you post, peoplel will manually start flocking toward you. thats entirely false. follow people. like photos. comment organically. be subjective. what would it take for YOU to follow a user on instagram? are you going out and finding people to follow via hash tags?

750 followers in a month is just a waste of time. not to be harsh.

Interesting. Thanks for the reply. I didn't post to hear sugarcoated responses so I'm not offended by your post by any means. Like I said this is all new to me and any advice, harsh or not, is helpful. I will start being proactive.

If you really want to make money with IG, it takes thousands upon thousands of followers to make money.

Money = time so I would suggest you buy some automated software to speed up the process.

Once you have an account with 20k-50k+ followers then you could do things manually. At this stage, people will be contacting you to exchange shout outs. Which means, you no longer will need a bot to attract new followers.

I see. Thank you for your input. So you disagree with brodel34 in doing things manually as of now. You are suggesting to purchase a bot and get to that point, then manually do it, correct?

Your stats are not bad for manual work with hash tags. However, if you plan to go this way in long-term, it will take you ages before you get famous, and before you do there will be tons other people before you as well.

I am not sure what type of niche you are in, but judging by your followers count based only on hash tags, I think it is probably a popular one which people are interested in. So, my recommendation is you to get a bot, like FollowLiker. You will not get banned if you are smart and not push the limits. Many people here use settings over the limits and get banned, you should stay low and don't push it too much. If you push the limits you will surely grow faster, but it's totally not worth it, because you can still grow fast and be on the safe side.

I mean, you can start following 800 per day, liking 1.5k per day, post 300 comments and get 300-500 followers per day, and risk getting banned a week/month after, or you can follow 500 per day, like 1k per day and no comments and still get 200-300 per day and stay on the safe side.

Get a bot, you can be banned, but with bot you grow really fast. I created a account 6 days ago, have 1,5k followers. I follow 800 a day and like 800
