Hashtag research(er)

Hello everyone. How do you search for hashtag? Usually strategies are: choose hashtags that are relevant to your niche, see how many shares they have and how many likes and comments they have and choose the ones you can reach with your posts etc.. But if i go to the most popular photos of an hashtag likes and comments are variable (you can see posts with 200 likes or 2000). How do you choose?

Other question: have anyone of you ever tried "hashtastic" for hashtag research? does it work?

The algorithm which helps you rank on hashtags doesn't always pick you on the basis of the number of high quality likes.

When you post something which your audience likes and you get more engagement from your audience itself compared to all other post then this will help you more to rank on hashtags.Also the number of likes is a secondary part but not necessary always.

My engagement is always the same in all posts, 1 time in hundred hashtags work. I noticed also that when i reach someone from hashtag in my insight i have "from hashtag" and when not i have "frome explore". My insights also change during the first hour of the post, for example the first 5 minutes i have "from location" and then this entry disappears. After other 5 minutes appears again. I'm the only one who sperimented this?

i uded hashtastic for 1 mounth and fine work it but the price is high for me

There are different bots for selecting tags, they basically show the rating of the tag. Highly rated tags fail more
