I see the new generation spending more time in YouTube compared to traditional forms of entertainment like TV . Will YouTube make TV extinct ?

not for a while, but sure the trend is going that way. As soon as instead of a TV remote, you use your mobile, naturally to control what you want to see. TVs are watcheded still by familes. TV is youtubes biggest growing market at the moment, they've confirmed it recently.

YouTube is dominating younger audiences, but TV isn’t extinct yet. Both coexist YouTube for on-demand, TV for live events and broader demographics.

Yes is pretty much replenish tv. If you think logical is normal on youtube you can search and look for what you have interest in on Tv you will have to either change multiple channels to get something interesting or look at something that is not so interesting..... So it make sense peoples watch now on youtube instead of tv

“YouTube definitely changed how the new generation consumes content, but TV isn’t fully gone yet. Live events, news and older audiences still keep it alive. Both platforms serve different habits. Let’s see how things evolve.”
