Has Twitter Stepped Up Their Game In Fighting Bots?

Today I've had contact with a few clients who are noticing massive drops in their Twitter followers that have come from bots (whether real looking or blatantly obvious ones).

I've spotted a few people lose a few hundred, to a few losing a few thousand (and more) in the space of a few hours.

My own personal accounts have taken a big hit today as well, is anyone else noticing an increase in bot culling?

It seems Twitter have really upped their game, or are just on a banning spree of bots today for some reason... anyone got any ideas as to why they're going ape shit over this today?

yes !! , tough not massive as yours i am seeing a 10-20 fall per day for a few days , I had used AMF and YLH . There was a time when my follower count was constant for a few weeks (after I stoppped using AMF and YLH) and now i have lost like 200-300 followers in 10 days or so

I haven't noticed anything like that on my accounts..
