Hey, one of my sites has recently dropped from the third spot to the sixth and I'm not really sure why. This is for local seo, has their been any updates recently that could have had this impact? The site has been ranking 1-3 for the past 2-3 months and has been getting regular blog updates.

what is thin content?
Thin content is irrelevant or copied content. We write everything unique for our site, but we have noticed a drop yesterday of 3 positions too, our content is always unique and a minimum of 500 words, with images, videos and the like. And not stuffed with keywords.

Ye's, Recently google was updated their core search algorithm as i had read in searchengineland's blog post, Was just a regular update not panda or penguin, Some say's site's which contain's some "new newsworthy content" received a boost with this update.
