Has the YouTube Partner Program become too restrictive for beginners? Is it because they have too many creators in all niche now ? Can they even raise the requirements for monetization in near future ?

I suspect the requirements will be raised in 1-2 years
But the are not that restrictive
Still same thing as before just that they had to make some tweaks as the industry keeps changing with ai
 
It seems YouTube is making monetization harder for new creators, maybe because the platform is crowded now, and they might even increase the requirements later.
 
I don't think they will raise it. The current requirement is already too difficult to achieve.

It is getting more difficult because of one more reason. The number of creators is increasing very fast now.

also the fact that many of them are just uploading rehashed videos and content that's just there for the sake of it.
 
They don't have to increase the requirements they shave like hell

4,5M shorts views -> they only count me 1,9M
10,3k hours of view -> they only count me 2007 hours

It's not only hard but also a robbery. Due to thry place add even in non monetized content for when you get YouTube partner status they have saved to pay you $1000

And the worst, when you get the YouTube partner, they are going to become more strict and your views are going to decrease, they are going to pay you peanuts and then they are going to shave your earnings before paying you
 
Yes and I love it. Most of these idiots give up too soon. The last thing I want is 20 Indians copying my channel/niche and bombarding the algo with their shit ass videos.

Ye, it is possible that they add more requirments. Like, they can add a requirement of age. Like only aged channels can be eligible. This can be done in order to fight against spam.
